Fun Patio Trends for 2020

It’s that time of year again to make the most out of your outdoor space. There are several trends that are hot in 2020 that you can incorporate into your own space. Earthy warm tones are really popular this year for example, gold, yellows, browns, and greens. Natural furniture is always a great choice for functional entertainment pieces. Vertical gardens, planter walls, outdoor bars, and modern lighting are at the top of the list. You really want to have the outside living space flow as a decorated extension of your home. There are many sources of lighting that you can incorporate in your outdoor retreat to enhance the mood, such as decorative string lights, or lanterns.

I recently had worked a Home and Garden Trade Show at the beginning of this year, and really found a lot of unique finds, using a variety of color accentuation. There were brown, and earthy tones, also there were alot of yellow, and blue spectrums mixed together as well. Bold white and black, and bright colored accessories grabbed my attention in every isle I had had walked down.

I found a lot of eclectic decor such as pillows, hanging lanterns, as well as hand made side tables, which were fun to use as themes. If you decide to go with a more natural look, greys, whites, and beige is always a great choice, with a splash of color.

Mix and match accessories can really brighten up your space. Try different mix and match pillows, lanterns, path lighting, decorative balls with sting lighting wrapped around them. You can incorporate vases, candles and create a mood focused setting points. Wall art will always bring a unique setting that you can create for yourself to come together as one exciting space. Mix and match new and old pieces, try new or vintage decor separately, or both together. With some imagination, the sky is the limit.
